Dispatcher-Fayette County, Iowa
The Fayette County Sheriffs Office is currently taking applications for Dispatcher and Detention Officers. The purpose is to increase the hiring list for possible Full-Time and Part-Time positions in both departments of the Sheriffs Office. DISPATCH QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age, pass a thorough background investigation, and may be required to take psychological testing. All training and school required will be provided by the Sheriffs Office. DETENTION OFFICER QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age, have good moral conduct, clean driving record, and psychological testing is required. Willing to become state certified within a year of hire. All required training will be provided by the Sheriffs Office. Qualified applicants must have good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and familiar with Windows operating systems.
